Jay seemed very competent technically. We encountered a problem with my fuse box being poorly labelled, but he was able to figure it out pretty quickly. He arrived on time both days and overall it only took about 1 hour longer than projected. Did a good job cleaning up the worksite.

Found thermostat temperature is within half a degree of actual temperature measurement. Removed shields from supply vents l, cycled system, believe grow lights around corner are warming air in home and causing thermostat to misread temps in home. Believe removal of supply vent shields should allow air to mix and circulate better in the home.
Found system drain pan has a crack in it will call with pricing and availability of drain pan. Flushed drain line adjusted pan to hopefully angle it towards the drain more. Recommend replacement of ez trap float switch and ss2 float switch as well does not seem to cut off R wire.
Found system board in low pressure lock out - reset system and waited for time delay cycle. After unit came on checked all electrical components including low pressure switch and refrigerant balance on system. System operates within normal parameters but added 2 oz r410a to adjust subcooling to the target 9 subcooling from 7.5° - cycled unit on and off several times to check operation of unit - replaced customer provided thermostat batteries and waited for unit to cycle on again. Recommend if unit fails this way again to replace outdoor unit board.

Found system low on refrigerant - performed halogen leak search - did not determine a leak at this time - added 2 lbs r410a to system and cycled to check operation. Reperformed leak search and did not find any apparent leaks on system at this time. Everything runs normally again.

One year warranty on repair Ultimate Cooling Tune-Up: cleaned coils, brushed and cleaned traps, added pan treatment tablets to pan. tested and checked all controls, wiring connections. tested temperatures, checked filters. checked refrigerant temperature and pressures, tested static duct pressure. tested blower operation, tested cooling operation to ensure working within manufacturer specifications.
Furnish material and labor to replace basement evaporator coil with OEM compatible coil and txv. Evacuate system, leak search repair site, refrigerant balance to manufacturer specifications. Repair has one (1) year warranty.

Found blower motor losing its programming. Must be replaced.
System intermittent failure caused by slow drain caused by our added algae tablets after replacement of condensate pump. Flushed drain and pulled a vacuum on drain to ensure proper flow of drain pipe then tested system to check operation. Everything appears to flow normally again.
